how Summer killed Winter

: “I don’t know what to make of you,” said the little girl to Winter.
: “Make me into a snowman,” Winter said.
: “But I don’t like snowmen; they just stand there.”
: “Then make us parts of a whole. Become the thing that defines me and in turn, defines you. Try it. Smile.”
The girl smiled and burned away the cold, the rain, and the snow for three months, and she was Summer thereafter.
